Position Overview
As a Lawyer for Sports-Tech, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on legal matters involving emerging technologies, data rights, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance within the sports sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, a passion for sports and technology, and the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks in a fast-evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements related to technology, licensing, and data protection in the sports industry.
• Advising clients on compliance with international and domestic laws, including GDPR, intellectual property rights, and technology regulations.
• Conducting due diligence for investments, mergers, and acquisitions involving sports-tech companies.
• Staying up-to-date with technological trends, such as blockchain, AI, and wearable tech, and their legal implications.
• Representing clients in disputes or arbitration related to sports-tech innovations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business strategists and technology experts, to deliver comprehensive legal advice.

Qualifications

• A licensed attorney with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate or technology law at a leading law firm or in-house legal department.
• Proven expertise in intellectual property, data protection, and technology-related transactions.
• Experience or strong interest in the sports industry.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Prior experience advising on international law matters or working with regulated industries such as gaming, gambling, or technology is a significant advantage.

Qualifications
