UEFA Executive Committee approved the allocation and distribution criteria for clubs releasing their players for international duty related to UEFA national teams’ competitions as an economic compensation for clubs releasing players on international duty to take part in UEFA-organized national representative teams’ competitions.
The Benefits Program covers UEFA Nations League, European qualifiers, and UEFA EURO 2024 final tournament fixtures. Concerning the final stage of the UEFA EURO 2024, the players’ release amount is set on EUR 140 million.
Additionally, EUR 100 million will give to clubs releasing or having released footballers for the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 editions of the UEFA Nations League and the qualifying round to the EURO 2024.
