Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh Signs Five-Year Contract with Al Ahli Saudi
Nir Inbar Sports Law & Business advised Gambian player Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh in connection with his five-year contract with Al Ahli Saudi.
The agreement represents an important long-term step in the player’s professional career and will see him join the Saudi club under a contract extending through 2031.
The firm provided legal and contractual support in connection with the transaction, including the review and completion of the player’s employment arrangements.
Long-term international football contracts require careful consideration of the player’s guaranteed remuneration, performance bonuses, accommodation and benefits, termination provisions, injury protection, registration, taxation, dispute resolution and the applicable football regulatory framework.
The transaction also reflects the increasing importance of Saudi football as a destination for international players and as a market for cross-border football transactions.
