Ilay Feingold Joins New England Revolution
Nir Inbar Sports Law & Business advised Israeli international defender Ilay Feingold on the legal and contractual aspects of his transfer from Maccabi Haifa to New England Revolution in Major League Soccer.
The transaction reflects the firm’s work in international football transfers, player contracts and cross-border career moves, supporting professional players through the legal, regulatory and contractual aspects of major sporting decisions.
Feingold joined New England Revolution under the MLS U22 Initiative, signing a contract through 2027 with a club option for 2028. Before moving to MLS, he developed at Maccabi Haifa and gained experience in domestic and European competitions, while also representing Israel at senior and youth international levels.
The firm’s role included supporting the player in the negotiation, review and completion of the contractual documentation connected to the move, helping ensure that the legal and professional framework of the transfer was properly addressed.
