Nir Inbar has been appointed as a UEFA Ethics & Disciplinary Inspector, joining UEFA’s disciplinary justice framework in European football.

UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspectors form part of UEFA’s system for investigating, assessing and presenting disciplinary matters under UEFA’s regulations. Their role may include initiating disciplinary investigations, requesting the opening of proceedings, proposing disciplinary measures, lodging appeals and representing UEFA before UEFA’s disciplinary bodies.

The appointment reflects the trust placed in Nir’s legal judgment, independence and experience in international football regulation, disciplinary procedure, sports governance and dispute resolution.

As a UEFA Ethics & Disciplinary Inspector, Nir may be appointed in matters involving clubs, national associations, officials, players, match incidents, integrity issues, regulatory breaches and other disciplinary questions falling within UEFA’s jurisdiction.

This role complements Nir’s broader work as an international sports lawyer and CAS Arbitrator, advising and representing players, clubs, agents, federations, sponsors and sports businesses in football disputes, regulatory matters, governance issues and proceedings before FIFA, CAS and other sports bodies.
